This is the last leg of our Ometepe mission trip as we begin 2 cherish the lasting memories & remember lessons learned. 

The experience will definitely last a life time & just maybe another trip my be in store....just maybe...

Chapter #2 - Call.

The adventure continues on....
 finally settled in 

Ometepe, Nicaragua. 

 100 degree temps, high spirits & 

the people were absolutely phenomenal.

The innocence of the children as they 
showed faces of joy 
while sharing a greater appreciation 
put everything in proper perspective

This marks the beginning of a newfound adventure...

(...you know how much I love those.)

Ometepe, Nicaragua is the destination along with a wonderful group of spiritual soldiers by way of the Rock Church in Scarborough, Me.

....on to Boston then over 2 Miami....a 3 hour plane ride 2 Nicaragua & finally a ferry 2 Ometepe.

(whew!)

The trip itself was such an experience, we could hardly imagine what an entire week would bring!

As we embark on this spiritual journey, we're sure 2 be filled with God's love & the gift 2 serve with beautiful purpose.

Living this life, eyes have opened a bit more than before where true joy comes 
with nothing attached.

Now that's one wide open lens with true perspective.

Fundraiser.

Looking forward 2 experiencing the ultimate dream of mine. 

It was nearly 3 months ago that the idea came about 
2 do a mission trip & serve. 

The idea of traveling abroad 2 far away places brings fire 2 the belly. 

Yep..I'm sent on this great journey 2 serve as God's vessel cause that's what I'm suppose 2 do...

a stranger walked by, stopped, stared & smiled....

"You guys are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!"....

things are changing.

Actively involved in the community & serving those less fortunate....

Once upon a time there was this person.

Ultra sensitive 2 the untruth & sorta 

an underdog in the greater scheme of things.

Questioning of one's self,

Often would they wonder...

"Should I compromise for the lesser of anything good?"

That's when it was revealed 2 create it's very own voice 

& bond 2 the only thing they could truly stand on....
 Words.

@ a time where hate & judgement runs the scene, 

we all have the power 2 share our differences 

& treat others with what's 

innately in our hearts

...Love.

Finding that faith 2 move forward

whether on the unpredictable 
streets of Chicago

2 the backwoods of azz backwards Georgia, 

one thing remains true...

There's a greater force 2 be reckoned.

You just have 2 know where 2 look.

It just may be where you least expect.
