Here we are once again sharing another installment 

of what we call life. 

The word for the day is..."Gravity".

1. Physics.

The natural force of attraction between any 2 massive bodies which is directly proportional to the product of their masses & inversely proportional 2 the square 

of the distance between them.

Both definitions share a significant purpose but finding a way 2 keep eyes on the prize for peace seems easier said than done when unseen forces continually bring you down..

Island.

I find it pretty amazing how life can take you places when you challenge risk & open up 2 

greater possibilities. 

No matter how crazy it may appear, there's always something 2 take from every single situation whether good or not so. 

Anywho...

Off again on another one of those Weddington Adventures where we headed 
through the islands off the 

eastern shores of Maine. 
(...with the trusty Canon in hand of course...duh!)

The scene was totally surreal with an unique culture all its own.

For one, never knew people could take seafood so seriously.

(if you've ever wondered where crab / lobster country was, this is certainly the place.)

Quaint towns, plenty of seafood, colonial homes

& a loads of water...

 (I've never seen so much water in my life!....)

by the way, it was !@#$%^&* cooold!

Surely the scenery would've been so much more nostalgic well into the summer months 
but for the very first run through, 
it was pretty sweet.

Oh, did I mention that it was !@#$%^&* cold?...lol

So time has passed since then but found 
my way down in the dirty south.
Backwoods Georgia 2 be exact.

Makes me wonder if there's anything
 I wouldn't do 2 keep Lady Tammy smilin'.  

Always an experience spending moments with those loved most....

Anyways, this whole small town experience had me considering a move from the Chi 2 a place where things appeared so much more simple.

Since moving 2 the state of Georgia, things have slowed down a great deal which has given me the much needed time 2 regroup 

& gather

thoughts...ideas...perspective.

Life is so very constant & can be a bit overwhelming @ times leaving little time 2 embrace the awesomeness.

In this case, it's the wonderful experience & memories with the nucleus of family.

It's like reading a book...

If you're 2 busy tryin' 2 get through it, you tend 2 lose the most important point.

That's why it's so important 2 gather thoughts & recollect the beauty of it "ALL".

It's as simple as a trip 2 the local mall for a shoppin' spree....re: son Khalid's 11th birthday.

Once again, with photography & some cool video, memories become so much more.

Something that'll never go away.

So why go for just a lil' bit when you can actually have it "ALL"?

The last 13 months have been one crazed out ride. 
The emotional roller coaster & newfound understanding of self has been enough 2 blow a gasket. 

That's just how life works I suppose. 

Without such there's no growth...but dayum! 

This education on life has been extremely invaluable & what some would say eye opening. 

Whew!...Man I wouldn't take any of it back even if I could.....ok, ok...maybe just a bit. lol

It's great 2 know someone who's critically conscious as Lady T. who has the ability 2 identify habits & patterns of behavior.  

Makes me wonder if I would've ever noticed
 any of it alone. 
Chances are....I wouldn't.

I'm speaking more so about the power of mood. An extremely powerful emotion that can dictate the moment & determine life's 
decisions from day 2 day. 

Knowing that, the importance 2 manage such a thing has become priority #1. 

It can either make or break & that's a chance I'm just not looking 2 take.

Me. Eats #1 - Gilbert's Chowder House.

Since choosing 2 make the move back 2 South Portland where there's a slew of funktified restaraunts on hand for any desired taste, we decided 2 make a food section on this whole 
Peace!...with 2 fingers thing. 

We like 2 call it Me. EATS...(get it?)

Me. is Maine & of course the EATS is exactly 
what it is....eating...lol 

Though not professional foodies, we eat out just enough 2 at least share our experience from a simple grass roots perspective....

Ok then...first stop: Gilbert's Chowder House....Woohooo!

What a better way 2 stay warm in the middle of winter with some Fish Chowder for
D &  Clam Chowder for T. 

We started out out with fried Maine shrimp in a red basket with a variation of sauces. 

As for the Chowder, it came in a bread bowl. 

A bread bowl?...Yep!

Oh yeah....that was the ultimate choice & couldn't have been more satisfied. 

The atmosphere was simple & down 2 earth with nothing exceptionally fancy & everything served on paper plates / plastic cups. 

That appeared 2 be it's theme & worked out pretty well...especially the boat dock out back. 

(I think that's what it was.)

The loose environment & overall experience was exceptional. 

The service was good & deserved my 20% tip plus a bit extra...

(Lady Tammy is heavy on the whole tipping thing but that's a whole different story...lol).

Anyways....final verdict...4 fingers outta 5.

Ok then...that was fun. Let's see...what's next...
